P3 forces you to think about some pretty deep shit and covers some dark, but intersting material P2 covers some interesting ideas regarding both the characters and society.

P1 was unique, and covered some interesting ideas regarding a central character. ive played all the persona games except p2 Eternal punishment. I’m not hating on P4, I loved P4, but you should really play it before you start saying P4 has a better plot than 5īut i have seen both eps and think p5 is better. At the end stupid fucking gas station attendant shows up, is apparently a god who fucked with people for some random ass reason, and then you beat her with the power of truth and friendship and everything is over. While I do prefer the camaraderie of Persona 4, the only individual character who is equal to a P5 character is Kanji. P4s truth theme is less interesting than 3s death or 5s justice/rebellion. If you don’t beat Kamoshida you get expelled, if you don’t beat Kaneshiro Makoto basically gets sold off into prostitution. 4s plot just seems more shallow when put up against 5 and 3 and 2. 5s traitor is more predictable than 4s murderer but I had no trouble guessing who the murderer was when the game gives you 3 guesses. In P4 you beat Mitsuo, they assume it’s over, nothing happens for a long time. There is always stuff happening in P5 though. I will say 4 is plot is pretty consistent in quality throughout the game and 5 has parts like Haru palace where it kinda sucks. The one thing I do prefer about 4 is the camaraderie of the team. And personally while there are aspects I prefer of P4s story, 5s plot resonates with me much more and is more interesting. The long boring proceduraly generated halls suck compared to P5s grand palaces but they work fine. The gameplay is a little repetitive but it’s bearable.

Why would you not feel like playing a game because it’s an old ass game? In case you didn’t know just because a game came out before the Xbox 360 and ps3 era it doesn’t suck.
